REPC UNIVERSITY

REPC University is a three-part course with the beginner actor in mind. This program is for those who want to take their theatrical acting skills to the next level. REPC University combines lectures, hands-on experience, and evidence-based practices to train participants in professional theater. While this program is a group class, we also focus on each individual actor, tailoring the program to participants' individual needs.

Our course is held in Midtown Manhattan and runs on Fridays from 6:00 - 8:00pm. The cost for all three classes is $900, however, financial hardship scholarships and payment plans are available.

Intro to Acting

Fall 2023

An introduction to the concepts and skills required to act for passion and career, with the recognition that those skills do not begin and end in a theatrical setting. Our primary course goal is for our students to get into an audition space and know exactly what to expect, increasing their confidence and success.

Scene Work

Spring 2024

This course expands on the concepts presented in Intro to Acting by pairing students, highlighting the similarities and differences between acting alone and acting opposite a scene partner.

Practicum

Fall 2024

This final course is the culmination of all the skills acquired in the two previous courses and is taught by REPC's Co-Artistic Directors. Participants are required to audition, rehearse, and perform a full-length show on a Manhattan stage.
